FAQ for People Who Are Skeptical About "Free" Services

1. Is your service really free?
   
   Yes. You can add your property to SearchTheJungle.com for free - this includes your property description and one photograph, and advertise it here for as long as you want until it's sold or we cease operations..
   
   We do not have any fees, charges, commissions, etc., to advertise your property at SearchTheJungle.com.
   
   There are no tricks or fine print.
    
2. How can your service be free?
   
   Our advertisers pay for the bulk of the cost of operating and maintaining this site.
    
3. Are there any conditions where this site will cost me money?
   
   Yes. If you want to add more photographs to your property listing, we require a small, one-time fee.
   
   If you have several properties that you want added to the site, and want us to do it for you, we may ask for a small donation.
   
   Or, you can make a donation to us at any time to help offset our costs. Donate any amount - we appreciate your support!
    

FAQ for Home Sellers:

1. Why don't you offer video for your listings?
   
   Video consumes much more bandwidth (and therefore drives up our costs) than photographs. To keep our costs down and keep this site free, we do not allow video.
    
2. Can I add my home to your site even if it is already listed with a real estate agent?
   
   Yes. Whether you are selling on your own, using a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) partner, or your home is listed with a a agent, you can still add your home to our site. More exposure to potential buyers means that you improve your chance of a quick sale!
    
3. What does a free listing at SearchTheJungle.com include?
   
   A free profile includes a description of your property and one photograph. Additional photographs can be added for a small, one-time fee.
    
4. Can I list multiple properties?
   
   Yes. By default all accounts are allowed to list one property, but contact us to increase your quota. Be sure to include your username and the address of your first property. You may list as many properties as you want for FREE.
    
5. Can I link directly to my property listing from another website?
   
   Yes. Direct links to your listing can be found at the bottom of your property detail page.
    
6. Can I use my property detail page as a printed flyer?
   
   Yes. The property detail page has all of your property information, images, a small location map, and the URL for the page.
      

FAQ for Home Buyers:

1. What can I do at SearchTheJungle.com?
    
   You can look at homes across the US that selers have listed with SearchTheJungle.com. You will have full access to all of the information that the owner has chosen to share.
    
2. Do I have to register to view homes?
    
   No. Unlike many real estate sites, we do not require that you register to see listings. You can view all of the listings, search by all available parameters, and see full property profiles without registering.
    
3. How do I contact the owner/agent for listings I am interested in?
    
   Each property has a "Contact Seller" button. Simply click on the button and complete a brief form to send an email to the seller.
    

FAQ for Real Estate Agents and Other Professionals Organizations:

1. Can you add all my listings for me if I have several listings that I want to add to the site, or can you obtain data feeds from my local MLS?
    
   If you are able to provide a CSV or XML data file of your listings, we can import the data into our database.
   
   We are currently finalizing XML specifications for data feeds and property import. Your local MLS provider or IT staff should be able to assist you with the export of your listing information in this format.
   
   Please contact us about MLS data feeds if you are interested in this feature.
    
2. What advantage does SearchTheJungle.com offer to a real estate professional?
    
   You will have increased nationwide exposure to your listings, as well as an additional easy-to-use means of getting your listings on the web. You can also use SearchTheJungle.com to supplement your current marketing activity for each home.

1. Are there any advertising opportunities with SearchTheJungle.com?
    
   Yes. We have not formalized our advertising rates yet, but when we do they will be posted to the  advertising page. In the mean time, please contact us if you are interested in discussing advertising opportunities.
